We are lucky to go on regular field trips throughout the year including; visiting the Coquitlam Police Station for children to learn safety awareness while we are exploring our community workers theme

Mommy is the most important person in the world to each child. We celebrate that bond by helping the children make a special gift for them to take home to Mommy. 

Every child’s birthday is an important day. We invite the children to participate in celebrating their friend’s special day by having a small party for them. We offer the children birthday hats

Every year we encourage the children to dress up in their friendly Halloween costumes. We take a special walk to the Glen Pine Pavilion in order to display our costumes.

Every Valentine’s we hold a special party for the children. We do a card exchange and hold a special event such as a pyjama party. We make theme related snacks to share with the children.

During December, we hold our annual Christmas concert. The children practice some Christmas songs to sing for their families. After the concert, we have a pot luck party.  

On the Thursday before Easter, we go to Town Centre Park for an Easter Egg Hunt. The eggs are prepared and hidden by the teachers. The children are asked to find them. 

We hold a special ceremony for the children going into kindergarten. The children are given a graduation certificate and photo.
